Baird joins The Post from Nike where she served as senior director of global communications. Previously, she was Managing Director and Head of Ogilvy’s Washington, DC office, leading an integrated cross-functional business and team. Previously, she led FleishmanHillard’s integrated marketing team.

Baird is Sicangu Lakota and Oneida, and an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. She is a recipient of the ColorComm Circle Award, recognizing women of color who are changing the face of the communications industry. She serves on the advisory board of IllumiNative, a non-profit organization working for accurate and authentic representation of Indigenous peoples. She also serves on the boards of the American Indian College Fund and Rare, a global nonprofit environmental organization. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from George Washington University, an MBA from Georgetown University, and studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
