Meet the Creator of TENCEL™ Mini Jeans – Sourcing Journal

Chananwat Munkong, nicknamed Ken, is a Bangkok-based independent denim designer and the man behind TENCEL™ mini jeans and jackets. We first worked with him in 2019 for our Hardwear collection of pieces inspired by workwear, and we’ve been collaborating ever since.

Although his specialty is physically small denim, what also makes Ken’s designs special is small-batch production; he keeps his groceries between 50 and 100 coins. He also designed a special version of the TENCEL™ mini jeans in collaboration with Mohsin Sajid of Endrime.

Mini jeans and mini denim jackets have traveled the world, accompanying our team on various shows and trips. These little clothes have also gone global thanks to our denim friends.
