New game mode updates, upcoming story content, and addition of seasonal sync pairs for Pokémon Masters EX come for the holidays.
The developers of the mobile game have revealed the rest of the content coming to end the year and launch 2022 in a blog post published last night.
On November 25, an interlude of Paulo will launch in the Main Story menu to bridge the gap between now and the release of the next chapter. In the future, more Paulo interludes will take place between the main story chapters.
November will also include a ton of game mode updates. These include a room jump feature for the Battle Villa, legendary events added to the main story menu, so players can replay them at any time. There will be changes to the rewards in the Champions Stadium, and the Grimsley and Bisharp sync pair will also arrive on November 25. To end November, another unannounced sync pair will join the game.
On December 15, two costumed seasonal sync pairs will be introduced to coincide with a currently unannounced seasonal event. The development blog also shares that seasonal events from the past will make a comeback.
The post also announced a new “Super-Challenging” mode coming in January called Legendary Gauntlet. This mode will see players successively face multiple Legendary Arena battles in an effort to achieve the greatest streak.
There will be another major blog post coming in late December to detail even more content coming next year.
