Toem New Island DLC Filled With Spooky and Confusing Content on PlayStation Plus

It was announced via Sony blog that the Tom The New Island DLC will include spooky areas, new puzzles, mini-games and a large amount of treasure to find. It will be the largest island added to the game to date and will be available to all PlayStation Plus members who have completed the entire base game.

Fans of the franchise know that this adorable and wholesome photo adventure Tom is just the cutest game available on PlayStation Plus. Currently, the base game contains many hilarious and quirky characters to meet, people who need help, and puzzles that will keep you busy for hours. Fortunately, the developers of Something We Made have just announced the addition of even more exciting content, which is a vast new island for players to enjoy.

Within this DLC is Basto, an island brimming with treasures to hunt down, all-new mini-games to enjoy, and even creepy, spooky stories to immerse yourself in. There will also be new quests, NPCs to befriend, and several Compendium creatures to locate. and add to your list. The developers state that the new content adds approximately one to two hours of additional gameplay to the game and that they have worked hard to bring this vision to life. They stated that this content would have been released with the base game, but they couldn’t create such a huge amount of content in the time available and decided to make it a DLC instead.

More so, there is now a new camera attachment available in Basto that launches water balloons that splash everything they touch. This accessory allows players to interact with the world around them in an entirely new way, where you can dive into stamps, as well as groundless adventures. Bushes and other objects in the game even react to the Water Popper camera attachment, and the developers say they’ve implemented this in order to make the world feel more alive as you traverse the terrain and make new friends.

What makes this addition even better is that it’s completely free for those who have already purchased the game or have a PlayStation Plus subscription! This means that once you’ve completed the base game content, the Basto DLC will automatically unlock and give you even more content to fully enjoy.

Right now, Tom is available on Steam, PlayStation 5, nintendo switchand The Epic Games Store. Pricing will vary depending on the platform you choose, but right now it’s on sale for just $9.99 through Steam.
